QuickSight

What Quicksight is

Quicksight is a video feedback tool. It brings timestamped comments, transcripts and simple sharing together, so reviewers can pin notes to exact moments instead of writing vague descriptions.

Note that this is the video review product at quicksight.ai; it shares a name with Amazon's QuickSight business intelligence service but is a different product.

What you can do with it

• Leave comments attached to specific timestamps
• Read alongside a transcript of the video
• Share review links without exporting files
• Collect feedback in one thread per video

Who it is for

• Video teams collecting stakeholder feedback
• Agencies reviewing client cuts
• Creators working with remote collaborators
• Production workflows that need precise revision notes

What to watch out for

• It is a review layer, not an editor; changes happen in your editing software
• Public nature of the feedback tool means the name collision with the AWS product should be kept in mind when searching for docs
• Transcript accuracy varies with audio quality
• Access and privacy settings should be checked before sharing client material
