Browser Storage Viewer
Read this site localStorage, sessionStorage and cookies as formatted values you can copy or clear.
Only the storage of this site is read, and only in this tab. Nothing is uploaded, logged or shared with another origin.
localStorage
sessionStorage
Cookies
HttpOnly cookies are hidden from JavaScript by the browser, so they cannot appear here. Deleting a cookie sets it to expire with path=/; a cookie written on another path may survive.
How to use it
- Open the page and press Refresh. The three panels fill in: localStorage, sessionStorage and cookies.
- Type in Filter to narrow the lists by key or by value; the filter applies to all three panels at once.
- Each entry shows its key, its length, and its value. Values that look like JSON are pretty-printed, everything else is shown as stored.
- Press Copy on an entry to copy its raw value.
- Press Delete once to arm it, then press it again within four seconds to remove that single entry.
Common use cases
- Checking what a site keeps - see which keys a page writes before deciding whether to clear them.
- Debugging a stale flag - find the key that holds an old feature flag or cached response and remove just that one.
- Reading a JSON payload - a value stored as JSON is expanded with indentation instead of sitting on one long line.
- Confirming a logout - reload after signing out and watch whether session entries actually disappeared.
Why it stays private
The viewer only reads what the browser already exposes to this origin, and it renders the text in this tab. Values are never uploaded, sent to another origin or written to a log, so tokens and session data you inspect stay on your device.
FAQ
Q: Do you see the storage of other websites? A: No. A page can only read the storage of its own origin, and this tool does not attempt anything else. It shows this site only.
Q: Why is a cookie I expected missing? A: Cookies flagged HttpOnly are hidden from JavaScript by design, so no page script can list them. A cookie written under a different path or domain is also out of reach.
Q: Does deleting an entry here wipe the whole storage? A: No. The delete button removes the single key you armed, after a second confirming click. There is no clear-all action in this tool.
Your data stays on this device
Browser Storage Viewer runs 100% locally. Everything you paste or drop is processed by your own browser and never transmitted. Nothing is stored on our servers — close the tab and it is gone.
Nothing you type is sent to a server, logged, or used for analytics. The page works even with your network disconnected after first load.
