Case Converter
Convert text between camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE and more.
How to use it
- Paste your text — anything from a normal sentence to
thisIsCamelCaseorthis_is_snake_case. - Click any target style button; the converter splits words first (it understands camelCase boundaries and separators), then rebuilds them in the requested form.
Common use cases
- Refactoring variable names — rename
user_nametouserNameacross a file in seconds. - CSS class conventions — convert component names to kebab-case or BEM-ish parts.
- Cleaning copied headings — produce Sentence case or Title case consistently for documents and UI labels.
FAQ
Q: Does it split words inside normal sentences correctly?
A: Yes — it recognises word boundaries from camelCase transitions, underscores, dashes and whitespace, so helloWorld and hello world both produce hello-world.
Q: What is CONSTANT_CASE for?
A: It is the all-caps form used for environment variables and compile-time constants, e.g. MAX_RETRY_COUNT.
