Email Signature Generator
Build a table-based email signature with inline styles, Outlook-safe and avatar-ready.
Preview
HTML to paste into your mail client
The output uses table layout and inline styles because Outlook and several web clients strip or ignore style blocks. Uploaded avatars are embedded as data URLs, which keeps the signature self-contained but makes the HTML longer.
How to use it
- Fill in the fields — name is required, job title, company, phone, email and website are optional rows.
- Optionally upload an avatar image. It is embedded as a data URL so the signature stays self-contained; files above 300 KB are rejected because they make signatures slow to load.
- Click Generate signature — the preview shows the rendered result and the output box holds the HTML to paste.
- Copy the HTML and paste it into your mail client signature editor, or download it as a
.htmlfile for reference. - Leave the avatar out and the generator falls back to initials in a gradient block.
Common use cases
- New joiner setup — build a consistent signature for a team without a designer.
- Client-facing roles — a compact block with phone, email and site that renders the same everywhere.
- Bulk onboarding — generate one, save the HTML, and swap the name and contact rows per person.
- Cross-client QA — check how a signature looks before sending test mail to Outlook, Gmail and Apple Mail.
Why it stays private
Everything runs in your browser. No account data is uploaded, and an uploaded avatar is read with FileReader and embedded locally — it never leaves the page.
FAQ
Q: Why tables and inline styles?
A: Outlook and several web clients strip or ignore <style> blocks and modern layout. A single table with inline styles is the most portable approach that still renders acceptably in older desktop clients.
Q: Why is my avatar making the HTML so long? A: Images are embedded as data URLs so the signature works without hosting. That trades file size for portability — keep avatars small (under about 100 KB) when you can.
Q: Can I add social icons? A: Not in this generator — it covers the core contact rows. Paste icon HTML into your mail client afterwards if you need it.
Your data stays on this device
Email Signature Generator runs 100% locally. Everything you paste or drop is processed by your own browser and never transmitted. Nothing is stored on our servers — close the tab and it is gone.
Nothing you type is sent to a server, logged, or used for analytics. The page works even with your network disconnected after first load.
