Image Round Corner
Round the corners of any image and download it as a PNG.
Rounding clips the image on a canvas in your browser and saves a PNG. The image never leaves your device.
How to use it
- Choose an image up to 10MB - JPEG, PNG or WebP.
- Drag the corner radius slider - the preview updates live.
- Pick the background color for the corner areas.
- Click Download to save a PNG with the rounded corners.
Common use cases
- Avatars and profile pictures - turn a square photo into a circle or a soft card thumbnail.
- Card layouts - match image corners to the rounded corners of a UI component.
- Sticker sheets - round the corners of icons so they sit neatly on any background.
Why it stays private
The rounded image is drawn on a canvas element inside your browser tab. Your file is read through a local object URL and never sent anywhere.
FAQ
Q: Why is the result always a PNG? A: PNG stores the corner color exactly and keeps the rounded edge crisp, without the re-compression artifacts a lossy format would add.
Q: What is the maximum radius? A: Half of the shorter side. At that point the shape becomes a circle or a pill and the image no longer fills the corners.
Q: Does rounding shrink the image? A: No. The canvas keeps the original pixel dimensions - only the four corners are covered by the background color.
Your data stays on this device
Image Round Corner runs 100% locally. Everything you paste or drop is processed by your own browser and never transmitted. Nothing is stored on our servers — close the tab and it is gone.
Nothing you type is sent to a server, logged, or used for analytics. The page works even with your network disconnected after first load.
