Text Repeater
Repeat text many times with newline, comma, space or custom separators and optional numbering.
How to use it
- Paste or type the text you want repeated into the left panel.
- Set Repeat times — any whole number from 1 to 1000; larger values are clamped with a note.
- Pick a Separator: newline, comma (with a space), a single space, or a custom string that may even be empty.
- Switch on Add numbering prefix to get
1.,2.,3.in front of each copy. - The result updates as you type; use Copy to take it with you.
Common use cases
- Placeholder content - repeat a line to fill a mock layout, a test fixture or a seed file.
- Comma-separated lists - repeat a tag or keyword with the comma separator to build query strings.
- Numbered lists - repeat a template line with numbering on to scaffold an ordered list.
- Padding for stress tests - repeat text up to 1000 times to see how an editor handles long input.
Why it stays private
Repetition is plain string work done in your browser's memory. The text you paste, the count and the separator never leave the page, so drafts containing private notes or half-finished copy stay on your device.
FAQ
Q: What happens if I enter a repeat count above 1000? A: The count is clamped to 1000 and a note appears above the result, so the output never grows without a stated limit.
Q: Does the custom separator allow an empty string? A: Yes. Choose Custom and leave the box empty to concatenate copies with nothing between them, which is handy for repeating single characters.
Q: Does the numbering restart for multi-line input? A: No. The whole input is one copy, so numbering counts copies, not lines. Repeat once per line if you need per-line numbers.
Your data stays on this device
Text Repeater runs 100% locally. Everything you paste or drop is processed by your own browser and never transmitted. Nothing is stored on our servers — close the tab and it is gone.
Nothing you type is sent to a server, logged, or used for analytics. The page works even with your network disconnected after first load.
