YouTube Timestamp Link
Build YouTube links that start at an exact hour, minute and second.
Both links land on the same moment. The URL is parsed locally with the standard URL API, so nothing is sent anywhere.
How to use it
- Paste a YouTube URL (watch, youtu.be, embed, shorts or live) or an 11-character video ID.
- Set the hours, minutes and seconds where playback should begin.
- Click Generate. Both link forms appear at the same time.
- Use Copy on the line you need:
&t=3725scounts total seconds,&t=1h2m5sis the readable form. - Click Clear to reset every field.
Common use cases
- Chapter deep links - send someone straight to the minute where a talk actually starts.
- Notes and documentation - point at the exact step inside a long tutorial instead of the whole video.
- Study references - return to the moment a definition was given without scrubbing the timeline.
- Support replies - answer a question with a link that opens on the segment that answers it.
Why it stays private
The link is parsed in your browser with the standard URL API. No request is made, no account is contacted and nothing is logged, so the videos you work on stay on your device.
FAQ
Q: Which of the two forms should I use? A: Both open at the same moment. The total-seconds form is accepted by more tools and older apps; the 1h2m3s form is easier to read in a chat message.
Q: Do Shorts, live and youtu.be links work? A: Yes. Shorts, live, embed and youtu.be links are all recognized, and the result is normalized to a standard watch URL.
Q: Why does my result keep other parameters? A: Query parameters you pasted, such as a playlist id, are kept and combined with the new timestamp. Clear the field and paste only the 11-character ID if you want a short link.
Q: What happens if I leave the time at zero? A: No timestamp is added, so you get a clean link to the start of the video.
Your data stays on this device
YouTube Timestamp Link runs 100% locally. Everything you paste or drop is processed by your own browser and never transmitted. Nothing is stored on our servers — close the tab and it is gone.
Nothing you type is sent to a server, logged, or used for analytics. The page works even with your network disconnected after first load.
